Our story began with a blind date in December of 1993. Our best friends set us up on this blind date. We doubled with them and traveled to Salt Lake City to see the Christmas lights on Temple Square. We hit it off right from the beginning - although it was not love at first sight- just an instant friendship. We had four additional dates over the course of the next four weeks. In January of 1994 Delmer asked Ann Michelle to marry him. (She said yes!!:) We were married in June of 1994, in the Logan Temple. While at the temple on our wedding day, Delmer locked the keys in the car. We had to hitch a ride from the temple to the wedding breakfast with Ann Michelle's sister and her husband. Thankfully, we weren't too far from home and Delmer sent a friend back to the temple to retrieve the car. Our best friends acted as our Matron of Honor and Best Man. They were not only kind enough to introduce us, but they also smuggled pizza into us at the reception. We didn't have to starve - hurray!! We have had many joys and sorrows too, in the years we have been married, but wouldn't trade any of them. Our relationship has grown and deepened into something we cherish. We started out as friends and have become best friends. We are now celebrating sixteen years of being a family.
