Kennan is the youngest child in our family. We met him when he was just 24 hrs. old. He came to live with our family two and a half weeks later. He is now six years old. This year he is in first grade. He loves listening to stories and is learning to read. He tells me that currently his favorite subject in school is storytime. His favorite Halloween story is "Gus, the Ghost." Kennan is a very active little boy. He loves to be outside playing in the sandbox, running, climbing, swinging, and riding his bike. He is excited to start his swimming lessons again this winter and to ride the slides at the new water park next summer. Kennan is also learning to play the piano and is taking lessons from a private teacher. He is learning to play "Jolly Old Saint Nicholas" just in time for Christmas. He likes to play computer games and spend time with his brother. He also likes to go bowling when he gets a chance. Kennan loves to do things with his hands and is a great helper (both indoors and out) to his Dad. He also loves to cook. He especially likes to help mom make bread or rolls; and he also loves to help either mom or Dad bake cookies. Kennan has a great sense of humor and loves to make the family laugh.
